To honor the omnipotent, omnipresent, creator, Holy GOD is truly a high calling. I ponder how any person could truly honor GOD.

Is it a process or a method? Is it heart motivated? How do you honor GOD? This is a serious undertaking.

Being steeped in the WORD would be a good start. The WORD is how GOD speaks to us. Then there is prayer which is how we speak with GOD. Is that all there is to it? I would say no.

Regular church and Sunday school attendance honor GOD’S word for the assembly of HIS people and the hearing of HIS word. Being on time, not tardy, is another way to honor GOD. Teaching and serving in the life of the church are ways of participating in the life of Christ’s church (His body).

Tithing (returning a portion of what HE has given to you) is another way to honor GOD. When tithing do you give a tenth of the gross or the net (render unto Caesar what is his and to the LORD what is the LORD’S). Do you tithe a tenth to the penny or do you offer beyond the tenth as a thanks for HIS blessings?

Do you love as GOD, through Christ, loves you? How do you honor HIM through your love, an unselfish love?

How does your witness, as you live for Christ, honor GOD?

As a fallen man I cannot boast in any achievement in my quest to honor GOD.

I humbly approach the throne because of Christ.
