Westminster offers several opportunities for adults to grow and be encouraged.
We currently have two adult Sunday School classes that meet after Worship on Sunday mornings:
Josh Reagan is teaching Joshua: The Promises of God Will Not Fail.
This class is looking through the book of Joshua at the faithful God who keeps His promises according to His Word.
Lee Coleman is teaching Reset: Living a Grace-Paced Life in a Burnout Culture by David Murray.
"How did I get here?" These are the words of many Christians on the brink of burnout or in the midst of breakdown. But there is good news: God has graciously provided ways for us to reset our lives to a more sustainable pace and reach the finish line with our joy intact.
We meet as a church family at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for a meal followed by a discussion of the previous Sunday's sermon. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and receive more depth of knowledge on the sermon's topic. This discussion time is led by our Senior Pastor, Rev. Richard Owens.
Our men meet in weekly small groups for Bible Study, prayer and accountability. If you are interested in getting plugged into one of these groups, please contact Ian Kayser. Our "Man Cave" group meets on Tuesday evenings. We are currently on break. Check back for more information on our next study.
This Spring, our Women are studying Rankin Wilbourne's book Union with Christ. We meet on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in the Fireside room, and on Tuesdays at noon in the Fireside Room (lunch provided). A nursery is available at the church at both of these times.
